What exactly are you seeing?
Every dot is a vehicle that has just reported its position, processed through the same path that serves customers. The vehicles are simulated; the path and the map are the real thing.
Why every ten seconds?
The page asks the platform once every ten seconds, and the timestamp above the map reports the age of the newest position the vehicles themselves reported — not the age of our request. If the demonstration fleet is paused or the feed stops, the state switches to Last known state and you watch that stamp age, instead of the page pretending to be live.
And what are you not seeing?
No driver names, no plate numbers, no device identifiers, and no identifier that could be used to request anything else. The page shows name, position, speed and heading — nothing more.
